| When you purchase vRigger, you receive a "license key." Your
license key is displayed on the screen immediately after placing your order and it is emailed to you.
The first time you run vRigger, you are prompted to enter your license key. You must
be connected to the Internet the first time you run vRigger so your license key can be verified. You only need to enter the key the first time you run
vRigger.
This process "activates" vRigger so it can
be run on your computer. You
should not share your license key with others or you will not be able to
run vRigger. You may not redistribute
license keys per the license agreement.
Your license key also controls which rigging industries are supported by vRigger.
If you purchase multiple copies of vRigger, your license key
will permit the software to be installed on multiple computers.

Moving vRigger
to a New Computer |

To move vRigger to another computer, choose Licensed Industries
on the View tab and then
choose Unlicense vRigger. This "deactivates" vRigger
over the Internet so your license key can be reused. For example, if you purchase a new computer, you can
unlicense
vRigger from your old computer and then reuse your license key on your new computer.
You can then download and install vRigger on
your new computer as explained here.
If you are no longer able to run vRigger on your
computer to deactivate it, please
contact us and we will
reset your license key our our server. Unlicensing vRigger deactivates it, but it does not remove
vRigger from your computer. To remove vRigger after you unlicense it, choose Start, Settings, Control Panel, and Add or Remove
Programs. |

License Key Troubleshooting |
- Make sure you are connected to the Internet before entering your license key. If vRigger reports that you are not connected to the Internet
and you are sure you are connected, try temporarily
disabling your firewall and/or virus protection software. If
vRigger continues to display a message saying that you are
not connected to the Internet, please
contact us (be sure to include the exact message displayed by vRigger).

- If a message states that "vRigger has been installed the
maximum number of times" your license key has already been used. Please contact us to request that another installation be added to your license key. Be sure to
include the email address you used when you purchased vRigger and provide a brief explanation of why you
need an additional installation.

- If you misplace your license key, contact us so we can
send you a replacement. Please be sure to include information that will help us find you in our database (e.g.,
the email address you used when you first ordered the software, your billing phone number, etc.).
